I wanted a taller, durable chair to set in my garden as part of my efforts to control varmints.  I first looked at lifeguard chairs, but they were out of my range.  I found this on Walmart's website.  It's a nice design and constructed out of treated lumber.  Walmart had it for the best price (No surprise there).  The chair arrived more quickly than projected, always a good thing.  The box was in perfect shape as were the contents.  Directions are complete and easy to follow and where to use what size screw or bolt is clearly identified.  The carriage bolts are hot dipped for rust resistance.  The deck screws require a smaller Torx driver.  Hardware did not include a bit.  The chair was reasonably easy to assemble but did present some minor challenges.  The chair is pre-drilled which makes alignment easy although some of the holes are a bit more of a challenge to align than others.  Once assembled, this thing is awesome.  My laid back approach to assembly took just under 35 minutes.

Perfect For My Needs

This was the best all around cost to perceived quality one out there.  We received it sooner than promised.  Assembly is not to bad if you are a bit handy.  Instructions could have been more detailed, had to just figure some things out.  But the quality of construction and finish (sanded surfaces and rounded edges) was great, and it is really comfortable as well.  One note, I would have paid more for option to have even a slightly taller model for my use case.

SUPER-FANTASTIC CHAIR!!

I am giving a 4.5 star instead of a 5 because of a few things. First, it is ideal for the porch at my beach house. I like the high grade of wood. The chair has weight to it so as not slide around on my porch in our high beach winds. Surround it with plants and it looks quaint for the passer-by.

It comes partially assembled, which is great. The instructions give step by step assembly, which I found easy to follow. The screws were star screws instead of flat or Phillips screws, so I thought a screwdriver with a star tip should have been included in the packaging. Star tip bits are not so common and the man at Lowe's had to help me find one. A star tip costs $4.

This was not an option, but wish it had a cup holder.  It is my sun-downer

Great alternative to similar adirondack chairs double the cost. The assembly instructions could be better. The design could be a little better to make more stable. Adding a few 2x2 pine balusters (cut to size) to the rear and front legs works to improve stability.

I ordered two chairs.  One chair was cracked in the seat.  I called and sent e-mail but have yet to hear from anyone.  We were able to put the other chair together.  Looks like a nice, sturdy chair.  Hopefully,  we get a replacement part for our second chair.
